Well I'm FINALLY feeling better (still coughing, still on antibiotics).
Midterms week came and went. I believe I have close to a 4.0 gpa right now judging from my grades so far *victory dance*.

I still can't believe how amazing this school is. It's every thing I've been looking for in a college. They focus on what you need to know instead of giving you filler (if i want filler I'll take classes after I graduate).

I'm hoping one day (soon) i can move out and get my own little place with drew and have a nice job (with benefits) and a corgi named ein. I have a strong feeling that I will never be able to afford a place on Long Island. Taxes are insane and house prices are equally nuts. Renting is expensive as well as a bad investment (thousands of dollars a year for something that I can't even sell when I leave it). The only problem is that I like my family. I'd love to still go out with my parents and my sister or just hop over and shoot the breeze from time to time.

Another thing that is a big problem is the fact that getting married on Long Island is equally expensive. I mean, I really don't want something extravagant...just different. Unfortunately it all costs money...lots of it. Also getting married entails sharing an abode....and well I've already gone over that issue.

*sigh* Guess I just need to sit back, take a breath, and put all my big plans on hold.

....heh...amber is sound asleep on my feet. :]
